Network Professional Services specialises in integrating *nix systems with Active Directory. From Mac OS X to AIX and Red Hat Enterprise Linux we are able to integrate authentication and authorisation for various *nix systems with Active Directory.

There are free open source tools to integrate Active Directory and Linux.  Free as in kittens. Not free as in beer.

If you want to do this painlessly and easily we recommend BeyondTrust.  More information on BeyondTrust can be found at www.beyondtrust.com or you can contact our friendly sales staff on This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it. .

Active Directory provides authentication services to Windows desktops and servers. Instead of maintaining a separate authentication infrastructure for the Linux environment (along with a separate set of user names and passwords),  Linux and UNIX computers are now using Active Directory as well.

BeyondTrust also utilises system policies to control the behaviour of your *nix fleet, as well as blacklist and whitelist applications, and under what conditions applications may execute.
